Learn Turiya Meditation with Robert McLaughlin

Robert McLaughlin has been teaching meditation since 1974. He will present a free introductory lecture on Turiya Meditation from 7 to 8:30 p.m., November 9, at Mandala, and November 14 at The Centre for Well-Being. He studied in Europe with the International Meditation Society, to earn his teaching certificate.
McLaughlin says, “Turiya Meditation brings deep and satisfying rest to the mind and body. The practice enhances the physical, mental and social aspects of life by increasing energy and a sense of happiness and fulfillment. Turiya means fourth state of consciousness, unlike waking, dreaming and sleeping states: in Turiya, the body is resting deeply and the mind is alert, yet peaceful.”
